The second Vietnamese Workshop was held in Ho Chi Minh City over the weekend 27-30th November 2020. This was the result of a partnership between the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, DetectedX, BREAST from the University of Sydney and Aus4Innovation. 40 radiologists attended this workshop in addition to the 40 radiologists who attended the Stage One Hanoi workshop two weeks earlier.
DetectedX CEO Prof Patrick C Brennan, seen in the photograph delivering a lecture to the attendees says that “despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, DetectedX was delighted to be involved with this exciting program of workshops, facilitating the use of our educational software by many Vietnamese radiologists. By radiologists learning more about the detection of breast cancer the welfare of women in Vietnam should be significantly enhanced”.
The team would like express their sincere gratitude to the Australian Ambassador and the Vietnamese Vice Minister of Health for opening the event.
