What we do
DetectedX was founded by a group of Australian radiation and imaging experts to help doctors and radiologists worldwide diagnose breast cancer, lung cancer and COVID-19 with speed and accuracy.
PD for the real world
The cloud-based technology uses an intelligent, interactive education platform to improve radiological detection rates. As a real-time, online image-based diagnosis improvement service, we take pride in helping radiologists everywhere improve their cancer and disease detection skills.
Where we began
Originally a startup at the University of Sydney, DetectedX follows on from the highly successful BreastScreen Reader Assessment Strategy (BREAST) platform.
Where we came from
Created in 2010 by a team including our founders, BreastScreen was implemented across four continents and has helped thousands of radiologists improve their diagnostic skills.
In 2019, the Australian government commissioned our team to deliver a similar solution for diagnosing dust disease using HRCT. The resulting findings helped create our lung disease and lung cancer diagnostic program, and DetectedX was truly born.
Where we are now
Since then, DetectedX has proudly gone on to become a globally respected leader in improved radiological education. We are proud recipients of several prestigious awards, and continue supporting radiologists worldwide in their pursuit of improved practice and patient outcomes.
Our mission
Our vision is to eliminate diagnostic error in imaging globally, particularly in the diagnosis of breast and lung cancer. DetectedX does this by helping radiologists refine their skills with real-time diagnostic feedback.
On a mission to teach
We believe in helping radiologists provide faster and more accurate diagnoses, enabling significant improvement in early cancer detection.
In keeping with our mission, we made our COVID-19 detection training program available globally for free in 2020. This program has since helped hundreds of radiologists improve their detection skills and patient outcomes.
