Detected-X provides a web-based system that allows clinicians located anywhere to diagnose de-identified radiologic images where each image interaction being instantly recorded. Specifically, some cases will demonstrate disease appearances, some will not.
View and judge
Radiologists will diagnose images using the same drop-down menus and post-processing options that exist clinically.
Each radiologist will give each perceived case a confidence score based on their confidence that a lesion exists. The type of disease appearance is also chosen.
Instant feedback
Since truth is known for each case through tissue diagnosis or consensus by our expert radiologists, all readings are instantly analysed using truth algorithms.
Each radiologist will then be able to review the images just read and examine truth alongside correct and incorrect decisions made for each image. The radiologist will be presented with feedback that has been determined by a panel of expert radiologists.
CME/CPD Points
Each radiologist will be given a certificate to recognise completion of the activity with an outline of CME/CPD credits earned. There are a range of point earning options with the ability to complete anything from 1 credit earning module through to 6 credits at a time.
Scores are stored anonymously so that a local or national evaluation of performances can be made which allows reference standards to be defined.
